I have found Dr Skourtis and her staff to be courteous, knowledgable, and skilled. I work at a hospital where Dr Skourtis practices, and her patients love her. I have also used her for a procedure and am very happy with the results! Please take the advice of this RN and consider using Dr Skourtis as your surgeon, you will be very happy with the results!

I am very impressed with Dr. Skourtis. It's been almost 6 months since my surgery, and to say I'm pleased with the results would be an understatement. I had spent many years self conscious about asymmetry in my chin caused by an underlying dental/bone issue. I finally worked up the courage to pursue a surgical correction last year.

I was very nervous prior to meeting Dr. Skourtis because I'd already consulted with a number of surgeons, and very few understood the problem. Dr. Skourtis, on the other hand, was very open and non-judgmental as I described it. She asked a lot of questions to ensure she understood, and encouraged me to ask questions too. She even provided her email so I could write to her with follow-up inquiries. Once I decided to pursue surgery with her, she met with me several times to make sure all my questions were answered and that she understood my hopes for surgery.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Skourtis. She listens, was easy to talk to, and provided the results I had been hoping for following years of self consciousness. I am very grateful to have found her.

I had a medical scare that led up to my needing surgery. I did some major research on the surgery and plastic surgeons in the area. After visiting a few plastic surgeons, I started talking to a few close friends and one of them took it upon himself to ask his friends their opinions of the leading plastic surgeons in the area which led to me seeing Dr Skourtis.

I was so glad that I walked into Dr. Skourtis office it felt right from the beginning. [Staff] was a delight to talk with and Dr. Skourtis made me feel so comfortable that it feels like family when I go into see them. On my first visit, Dr. Skourtis and I talked and talked until I was comfortable.  I needed time to think so I took home pamphlets and continued to read and research the surgery until the next visit. This visit was awesome, Dr. Skourtis answered all my questions; she was just what I was looking for in a doctor.

I could not be happier with the results of my surgery and have since recommended Dr. Skourtis to many of my friends. In my opinion she is one of the best plastic surgeons in the area.

 I can not say enough good things about Dr. Skourtis and her staff. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Skourtis immediately, and she was obviously very knowledgeable, experienced, and personable. My husband and I were able to sit with her and get all the information I needed about my breast augmentation surgery, and I felt very involved in the whole decision making process. She even invited me to call her personally with any more questions I had or anything I needed to discuss.

On the day of my surgery, literally all of the nurses who took care of me in the hospital raved about Dr. Skourtis, and that made me feel even more comfortable and sure. All the nurses at Providence were very kind and took great care of me.

Dr. Skourtis did a really beautiful job on my breast augmentation, and I love how my new breasts look and feel. I had close follow up, and I always felt like she really cared how I was doing. Dr. Skourtis listened to exactly what I wanted, was technically skilled, and I feel I made a really good decision to choose her as my surgeon.

After reseraching plastic surgery for almost a year, Dr. Skourtis came highly recommened to me. 

Dr. Skourtis in my opinion is one of the Leading plastic surgeons. Dr. skourtis provided me with quality time, to explain procedures options, risks, benefits, she listened, and answered my questions in a manner in which I could understand. The final results of my surgery are amazing, I could not have hoped for a better outcome. I would recommend Dr. Skourtis in heartbeat.

Dr. Skourtis is fantastic and I had an amazing experience! Her office is extremely efficient and confirms everything in great detail. I never felt shortchanged on information. Dr. Skourtis came highly recommended and was very knowledgeable. She had excellent bedside manner and I actually referred two other friends for a variety of treatments. She and her staff treated me with the utmost respect. She spent quality time explaining my procedure and gave me many options when it came to my surgical plan. I have had significant back pain for years because of my (formally) large chest but I was concerned about the scar tissue that would result from a breast reduction. She not only did a top notch job on the surgery, but the scar tissue was the best I could hope for. She truly cares about her patients and I am extremely satisfied with my results!

 

Dr Skourtis is amazing & so thankful I choose her , she was my second Dr I had went to & was very comfortable with her, she answered every question I had along with all my husbands , who to was very comfortable & confident with her answers & my procedure . As an O.R. nurse, I have had the opportunity to work with many plastic surgeons. I finally got up the courage to have my own mommy makeover, and as many of the other O.R. nurses here do, I chose Dr. Skourtis to be my surgeon. I specifically chose her because I knew her reputation in the O.R. and that she was a meticulous, skilled, artistic surgeon, and a kind and caring person.... This makes a big difference to me.

The whole experience was excellent. Her office staff is friendly and accomodating, and Dr. Skourtis spent a very long time sitting with me discussing the whole procedure. Since I'm a nurse, I of course had many really specific questions, and Dr. Skourtis was very informative and never seemed bothered by my questions like some doctors do. I had my surgery (which involved breast augmentation, breast lift, and tummy tuck) this summer, and I feel truly like a beautiful new person! It made such a difference in my overall self confidence. All my scars healed well, and my breasts and tummy look actually better than they did before I had my kids. I'm completely happy with my results, and feel that I got exactly what I was hoping for (which means a lot coming from a picky nurse!). Dr. Skourtis even called me at home to check on me. I'm soooo happy I did this, and am so glad Dr. Skourtis was my surgeon.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Skourtis and her staff.  Prior to my procedure, she spent a lot of time reviewing the surgery, aftercare and healing process.  Bedside manner was top notch and the followup care I've received has been wonderful.  The results are exactly what I had hoped for.  I selected Dr. Skourtis after reading several reviews from nurses who have availed themselves of her services and I wasn't disappointed.  I've been to the larger surgery centers in the past but going to Dr. Skourtis was a much better experience.  I really felt like I received the individual attention that was lacking from other similar providers.

I CHOSE Dr. Skourtis for my reconstructive surgery to follow my mastectomy.  I had interviewed her and a few other plastic surgeons. I found her and [front office] to be professional and respectful.  She always answers my millions of questions with patience and details and sometimes drawings to ensure I understand.  She also advised me of risks and side effects. Additionally, she was sensitive to the journey I was about to begin.  At one of my early visits she shared a beautiful photographic book, titled "Reconstructing Aphrodite", with me.  I knew at that moment she "got me" as a patient and as woman about to undertake transformation.
I am very pleased with my results and absolutely feeling whole again.  Her skills are obvious.
I highly recommend Dr. Skourtis for post mastectomy reconstruction.  She and [her staff] are an integral part of my recovery team.  I am proud to have them in my corner.

Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. She answered all of my questions, and made me feel very comfortable doing the surgery. I went to a few other surgeons and decided with her because she is such a people person and is very confident that she can make you look exactly how you want. I had my surgery 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend her to everyone, her and her staff are so nice!!
