Dr. Mia E. Skourtis is a Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon in practice in Portland, Oregon.  Dr. Skourtis is trained in the most current surgical  approaches and techniques, and performs a full range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures, with specialty training in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. 

Dr. Skourtis completed Plastic Surgery residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic, fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery at Stanford University, and fellowship training in Head & Neck Microvascular Reconstruction and Facial Plastic Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at Oregon Health & Science University.  She also completed her General Surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University.  Dr. Skourtis is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery - the only medical Board to certify Plastic Surgeons trained in  accredited Plastic Surgery residency and fellowhsip programs. 

Dr. Skourtis has published research in scientific journals, written textbook chapters on the subject of facial reconstructive surgery, and has presented her research and experience at international scientific surgical conferences.  Her extensive training and multidisciplinary background have provided her with a well rounded and scientifically based approach to facial and body cosmetic surgery and reconstruction.
